This bartending app offers 101 of the most commonly requested drinks that a bartender needs to know!

First, you can browse by the type of drink to see the recipes. They are broken out by category, and include an image of what glass the drink is typically served in along with the typical garnishes.

When you feel that you have mastered the drinks, then you can take a quiz to test your knowledge.

Most bartending schools will require you to know these drinks cold, and youll have to pass a timed test preparing several of these. Even if you arent in bartending school, you can still impress at the next party by being able to prepare the most common drinks. Or perhaps you just want to look knowledgeable next time you order in a restaurant!

Please note that some bars and regions have their own spin on drinks. While a Cuba Libre is served in a Highball Glass, some places serve it in a Rocks glass for example. A French Kiss often has Chambord (hence the "French") but youll find several variations on this recipe, so do keep that in mind. (My guess is that someone orders a drink that theyve heard of and the bartender has no idea how to make the drink. So the bartender just put something in it claiming thats how its made. Many customers wont have the knowledge to dispute it. Hence a new variation is born.)
